Welcome to my Colorado Concealed Carry training class! This is a fun and interactive course of instruction taught by me, a former US Army “Green Beret.”

Class completion will qualify you to apply for your Colorado State concealed handgun permit (CHP).

I am also a former NRA Law Enforcement Instructor, former US Army Special Forces Weapons Instructor, and certified Special Operations Forces (SOF) Foreign Weapons Armorer. Along with my military experience, I have trained over 10,000 students during my career, have owned and operated my own gun range and store servicing over 100,000 customers (about the seating capacity of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum), and am currently consulting as an Expert Witness for firearms cases. I also maintain certifications from the NRA for Chief Range Safety Officer and Pistol Instructor.

This classroom and range-based course is designed to teach the pitfalls of concealed carry, advise on use of deadly force law, and discusses places you may or may not legally carry, along with “grey areas” of consideration. This course of instruction also covers basic marksmanship with live fire, the mechanics of operation of firearms, and a topic near and dear to my heart--the fundamentals of handgun safety! Your Colorado CHP will allow you to carry in the great state of Colorado, PLUS thirty-three additional states.

Safety discussion includes my preferred method of handgun clearing, a redundant clearing procedure used to safely rent over 75,000 handguns at my previous gun range, Shoot Center Cape Coral
